2023 may have only just started, but in the automotive world, it’s already time to start thinking about the 2024 model year. Here at Twin Falls Subaru, we have a ton of great 2023 models, but if you don’t expect to be in the market for a new car until next year, you may be curious to see what Subaru has planned for the upcoming model year.

According to Automotive News, Subaru’s hatchback offerings will be big in 2024. This makes sense, as the automaker has announced new versions of its upcoming Impreza hatchback and Crosstrek crossover SUV hatchback. Both models will be completely new.

Subaru first gave us a look at the 2024 Impreza at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. The 6th generation of the nameplate keeps the 5-door hatchback variation but in a much sportier form. Subaru also gave the 2023 Impreza a new RS trim level. This particular model equips the vehicle with a 182-horsepower Boxer engine. An 11.6-inch central touch screen display also features among the enhancements for the new model year.

As for the 2024 Crosstrek, Subaru showed off the model at 2023’s Chicago Auto Show. The model is all-new for the upcoming model year and features the 11.6-inch touch screen display we mentioned above, a 10% stiffer chassis for better performance, standard driver assistance technologies, and a revised AWD system that is quicker and offers better control. While Subaru hasn’t released the MSRP for the 2024 Impreza, they have said that the 2024 Crosstrek will remain at the same price point as the previous model, starting at an MSRP of $24,995.
