Normally the awards cited in this Twin Fall Subaru blog are due to the excellence of one or more of our models. Today, however, we announce that Subaru has received the 2023 Gold Halo award for the Best Education Initiative. The award was presented by Engage for Good, which acknowledges companies who have had an effective social impact for a good cause through either cause-centered marketing or programs. The Gold Halo award was earned by Subaru for its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org as part of its 2022 Subaru Loves Learning® initiative, which itself is part of the Subaru Love Promise.

AdoptAClassroom.org is a national nonprofit that funds PreK-12 teachers and schools across the U.S. to help equip more classrooms and students for success. They found that teachers are spending on average $860 of their own money each year to provide the necessary materials and resources for their classrooms. Subaru and their dealerships like Twin Falls have helped alleviate this financial burden on teachers by donating $3.3 million to 652 schools and 5,699 teachers across the U.S.
