Subaru is not just a top automaker, they are also a very charitable organization. The 2023 Subaru Share the Love® Event is aiming to raise $29 million with a national advertising campaign. With that success, Subaru and their retail partners will have donated over $285 million to numerous charities since the first event in 2008.

For 2023, Subaru and its national partners will be supporting The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation, along with 800 local charities.

The Subaru advertising campaign will showcase the various charities the automaker and their partners are donating to. More than 800 local charities will benefit from Subaru dealers and Subaru of America, Inc.

“Giving back in a significant way through the Subaru Share the Love Event is integral to fostering personal and community connections for our retailers and customers alike,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Subaru of America, Inc. “With conscious intention, we are working to support worthy causes across the country in actionable ways that demonstrate how Subaru is More Than a Car Company® and our retailers are More Than a Car Dealer.”

For every new Subaru purchased or leased from November 16, 2023, all the way to January 2, 2024, the manufacturer will donate $250 to the customer’s preferred national charity of the four Subaru is working with. Dealers can choose up to two of their local charities to give an extra $50 for every vehicle sold or leased. For every Subaru vehicle that gets routine maintenance performed in the same timeframe, Subaru will donate an extra $5 to the local charity of the retail partner’s choice.

Since the start of the Subaru Share the Love Event in 2008, many national charities along with over 2,100 local charities have received more than $256 million in donations to help the most vulnerable people in need of help and assistance.
