If ever there is an organization much deserving, it is Hiatus Ranch of Idaho with their powerful mission to end military veteran and first responder suicide by restoring mental, physical and emotional health. They do so by providing combat military veterans, local first responders, and active military with a safe retreat where they can escape from life’s problems and regain vitality. Hiatus Ranch of Idaho uses rescue horses and support animals as part of their rehabilitation program on a tranquil, nature ranch setting. They also provide housing, meals, financial management and voluntary mental health services.

Our nation is losing over 20 veterans and over 700 first responders A DAY to suicide. It is now the second-leading cause of death for post-9/11 veterans with the highest percentage between 55 and 74 years old. With national suicide rates at an all-time high, now more than ever, Hiatus Ranch of Idaho needs our support.
